Jim Vande Steeg Placed at Honeywell as Airbus Program Manager

Valor Partners and Honeywell Aerospace are pleased to announce the placement of Jim Vande Steeg as Airbus Program Manager. As Airbus Program Manger, Jim will head up all satellite communications programs for Airbus Platforms (SATCOM) and will support pursuit and strategy development activities related to future satellite communication programs.
Prior to joining Honeywell, Jim was a Program Manager at Panasonic Avionics directly responsible for programs valued at over $170M. While at Panasonic Avionics, Jim managed several large Airline accounts and maintained program performance across functional departments while meeting customer satisfaction. Before Panasonic, Jim spent ten years at Rockwell Collins as a Principal Product Line Manager and Program Manager.

Andy brings over twelve years of product marketing experience in the enterprise software industry to the position, with tenures at Digital 4Sight, i2 Technologies, and SAP. During his time at SAP as Global Head, Solutions and Strategy Marketing, in the Healthcare & Life Sciences Sector, Andy identified and developed a $1.2 billion+ healthcare provider and life sciences opportunity map and was consistently recognized as one of the top 2% performers. Prior to his tenure at SAP, Andy was Director of Solutions Marketing, Supply Chain Management for Life Sciences, at i2 Technologies where he spearheaded marketing and communications for i2’s supply chain management enterprise software solutions for the pharmaceutical, medical device, equipment, and bio-tech industries.

As Project Manager, Jansen will lead the installation, implementation, and integration of AeroScout’s LAN location solutions. Teague Cliff, as Regional Sales Manager, will lead the Central US region sales team.
Jansen joins AeroScout with over eleven years of project management experience in the IT, RFID/RTLS, and Wireless sectors with prior roles as Project Manager, Pre/Post-Sales Engineer, and Process Consultant. Before joining AeroScout, Jansen was a Business Process Improvement and Project Management Consultant at Awarepoint Corporation where he was responsible for the account, project, and outcomes management of Awarepoint’s RTLS system.
Teague joins AeroScout with over nineteen years of sales experience in the Healthcare IT industry. Prior to joining AeroScout, Teague served as an Enterprise Solutions Executive at Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) where he focused on selling hospital market supply chain solutions from electronic data interchange to revenue cycle and content management tools. Before joining GHX, he spent fifteen years at McKesson Provider Technologies as a Sales Executive focusing on McKesson’s entire suite of patient and resource management software and service products to hospitals and integrated delivery networks.

“With our previous site, while people really liked the design, the content and message was simply ‘more of the same,’ said Doug Johnson, President. “In brainstorming the new site with my staff and our web design team we reached the conclusion that less was more. We wanted a message that was brief and concise with a site that was visual appealing. Additionally, the new site will allow us to add and update content as it happens. The feedback we have received has been overwhelmingly positive.”
Due to the evolution of social media and online communications, Valor Partners intends to integrate social media components in addition to their presence on LinkedIn. Valor Partners and Honeywell are pleased to announce the placement of Mike Tryon as Director of Material Planning and Procurement at the Pantex nuclear facility in Amarillo, Texas. At Pantex, Mike will represent Honeywell at the facility which is a limited liability enterprise of Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Group, Honeywell, and Bechtel.
Mike brings over thirteen years experience of C-level management in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, with tenures at Raytheon, Defense Contract Management Agency, and the Crane Company (Aerospace, Electronics, and Controls Groups). Most recently he served as the Director of Supply Chain Management at Bell Helicopter Textron, where he held responsibility of the supply chain and procurement policies for commercial and military programs and directed the policy and strategy of the company’s $1.5 billion budget for procurement.
